Ingredients
- 8 medium white onions
- salt
- 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 tsp. lemon juice

Directions
- 1
Place the peeled onions in a buttered baking dish and sprinkle with salt. Combine the syrup, butter and lemon juice in a small saucepan and heat to boiling. Pour over the onions and baste often during baking. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350°F.
