Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tsp. sugar, put in yeast
- 1 cake yeast
- 1/2 pint sweet cream
- 3 egg yolks

Directions

Sift the flour, sugar and salt; add the butter and work into a batter until it is like pie dough. Heat the milk to the scalding point and cool. Add the 2 tsp. sugar and crumbled yeast. Stir until the yeast dissolves. Beat the egg yolks. Add the cream and yeast. Stir all liquids into the flour mixture, put in a greased bowl and place in the refrigerator overnight. Form rolls as you like. Let rise 1 1/2 hours. Bake 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Frost with confectioners icing and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
